This year (2016) our GCSE and A level results in nearly all areas were an improvement on last year with all of our students able to progress to excellent further education opportunities.
A* - G Grades – (These are the pass grades)
The average number of GCSE (or equivalent) passes gained by each student was TEN.
95% of Queensbury students gained FIVE or more A* - G grades in 2016.
A* - C Grades - (These are the top grades)
69% of our students gained FIVE A* - C grades or above.
61% of our students gained FIVE A* - C grades or above including both Maths and English.
63% of Queensbury students achieved an A*-C in both English and Maths.
In English 86% of students make “expected progress” between Key Stage 2 (aged 11) and GCSE. In Maths 56% of students make “expected progress” between Key Stage 2 (aged 11) and GCSE.
The vast majority of our students fulfilled their potential, 47% of these students have stayed on to the Sixth Form to follow A level or vocational courses.
86% of students achieved an A*-E grade. 67% achieved A*-C grades.
More than 58% of our Sixth Form go on to university or higher education. Virtually all of our students were able to gain their chosen place at university.

Students can collect certificates from the Main Office in central either by collecting their certificates themselves or arranging for someone to collect them on their behalf with authorisation from the student; a signature is required on collection. If you are an ex-student and are intending to come and collect your certificates on a particular day, please telephone in advance and your certificates will be ready to collect from the main reception in central. We keep certificates for 5 years.
