Queensbury Academy GCSE results

Posted on: 4th September 2017

We are delighted to report a pleasing GCSE performance against a challenging national backdrop that saw students taking harder new GCSEs in English and Maths. We are proud that over two thirds of our Year 11 students achieved a grade 4 pass in English and around two thirds achieved a grade 4 pass in both English and Maths. This gives the majority of our students a great opportunity to progress to post-16 study.

Some standout individual performances include:

Prithvi Dixit: Grade 9 in both English and Maths, 7A*, Distinction *, grade 8

Sam Graham: Grade 9 in Maths, Grade 8 in English, 6A*, 3A

Callie Ferrari: Grade 8 in Maths, Grade 7 in English, 5A*, 2A

James Chin: Grade 8 in Maths, Grade 7 in English, 1A*, 3A, 2B

Ruby Hawkins: Grade 8 in Maths, Grade 7 in English, 5A, 3B

Congratulations Year 11 for another great set of results. We look forward to welcoming you back into our Sixth Form in September. Thanks to all our staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that every student achieves their very best.
