Harding Mazzotti Arena (Formerly Glens Falls Civic Center and Cool Insuring Arena)

The Harding Mazzotti Arena (formerly the Cool Insuring Arena, and before that the Glens Falls Civic Center), located in downtown Glens Falls, is a multi-purpose sporting and events arena. The arena seats 4,774 and was built in 1979. It also contains a 7,335 square foot banquet facility called Heritage Hall.
Year-Round Entertainment
The arena brings a variety of entertainment to Glens Falls all year long. Originally home to the Adirondack Red Wings, the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings, the Harding Mazzotti Arena now hosts the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder.
Heritage Hall
The Harding Mazzotti Arena has hosted the NYSPHSAA boys basketball tournament for many years, and the venue has also been the filming place for the annual Puppy Bowl come Super Bowl time!
The arena also hosts concerts, ice shows, family-friendly performances, fundraisers, and a wide variety of other events, including the Adirondack Stampede Charity Rodeo.
The Adirondack Thunder and Harding Mazzotti Arena have partnered with SeatGeek for the past few years. This is a mobile ticketing platform that allows for a safer, easier, ticket-buying experience.
Indoor Walking
Enjoy indoor walking all year! Harding Mazzotti Arena allows walkers to purchase a walking wristband to use the track at the top of the arena. It's only $10 for the whole calendar year. You can purchase your membership at the Cool Insuring Arena box office.
The arena is typically open for walking from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Be sure to check the official schedule to learn about modified hours, special dates when walking is not offered, and the rules and regulations associated with walking at the arena.

Adirondack Stampede Charity Rodeo
For the 34th year, the Adirondack Stampede Rodeo will roll into the Harding Mazzotti Arena on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. each night.
