After the summer sun sets on the Adirondacks, Six Flags Great Escape again becomes a chilling ‘scream park’ as Fright Fest returns weekends Sept. 27 through Oct. 26. The fan-favorite event packs the park with scare zones, haunted attractions, live entertainment and night rides that turn thrills into chills.

By day, families can enjoy Boo Fest with kid-friendly activities and rides. After 5 p.m., monstrous creatures prowl the midways and haunted attractions open for those who dare.

Fright Fest Highlights:

• Reimagined Nightmare at CrackAxle Canyon, an immersive haunted maze where 13 rooms each manifest a different phobia, from classic fears to esoteric terrors.
• Returning fan favorite haunted mazes include Skull Manor, CarnEVIL and Hell Block VI
• Scare zones offer western frights in Dead in the West, plus eerie settings like Infested and Dark Oaks Graveyard.
• Nighttime entertainment and rides, with themed performances that keep the scares coming.
• Limited-time food and beverage featuring Scorchin’ Chicken Walking Taco, Beastly Fries and Blood Bags in both cocktail and mocktail varieties.
• Boo Fest and Fright Fest rides, entertainment and scare zones included with park admission; haunted mazes require a Haunted Attraction Pass, sold separately.

Boo Fest® Theme Park Highlights:

• Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 27 through Oct. 26.
• Kids 12 and under costume contest, Trick-or-Treat Trail, Halloween scavenger hunt.
• Monster Mash interactive dance parties, hay maze, arts and crafts at Boo Fest Central.
