Keep in mind that there is a vast array of support available to you at school. If there's anything that could assist you in being successful, particularly during this period, don't hesitate to reach out and inform a staff member.
Exam Timetables
The summer exam timetables for 2024 are linked below.
Exams are scheduled in common slots agreed by all exam boards under the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). Each exam must be taken on the specified day and time.

Equipment List for Exams
It is the candidate's responsibility to provide all the equipment needed to complete the exam paper/s.
All equipment must be in a clear plastic pencil case or clear plastic bag.
Calculators must be provided by the candidate and conform with the JCQ regulations, please remove the cover before you enter the room.

Contingency and Results Days
Summer 2024
All awarding bodies have designated Thursday 8th June, Thursday 13th June and Wednesday 26th June 2024 as ‘contingency days’ for examinations.
The designation of ‘contingency days’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of a national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.
JCQ CONTINGENCY DATES: 6th June pm/13th June pm/26th June all day - all students should be available for these dates.
Result days summer 2024
- GCE – Thursday 15th August 2024 (Located in Central Building)
- GCSE – Thursday 22nd August 202 (Located in East Hall)
All result collections will be held during the morning between 9.00 and 11.00am
Post Results
Certificate collections are typically scheduled towards the end of the year. Communication will be sent home to parents and students detailing the specific dates and times they can collect their certificates. If you have any issues collecting your certificates please email:
