Jon Driver - Chair of Governors. Term of office July 2019 - July 2023

Jon joined the local governing body in July 2019.  Jon has worked in the higher education sector for 10 years, in the areas of international business development, governance, and regulatory compliance management. As a former pupil of Queensbury he is conscious of the impact the school has on the lives of those living in the local community; his ambition for the school is to see it fulfil its potential as a transformative institution, both for its pupils and for the town and surrounding area.


Geoffrey Brown - Local Community Governor - Term of Office December 2018-2022

Geoff joined the local governing body in December 2014. Geoff has worked in the education sector for more than fifteen years, both in the civil and military areas. His job role was Learning and Development Adviser with responsibility for overseeing and monitoring the teaching activities at a Defence college. Geoff was part of the senior management team and was responsible for the management of the development of instructors. Geoff has a particular interest in ensuring that students with special educational needs and disabilities receive appropriate support and he has taken on the governors’ responsibility for SEND.
